Rutland Local Plan 2026 – 2046

Residents, businesses and communities are being invited to help shape a new local plan for Rutland. A five-week scoping consultation for the new Rutland Local Plan 2026-2046 will run from Thursday 10 September until 4pm on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

The scoping consultation runs from Thursday 10 September to 4pm on Wednesday 14 October 2026. Further information about the new local plan, including consultation documents and details of how to submit feedback, is available on Rutland County Council’s Scoping Consultation webpage.

Rutland County Council is also holding an online webinar from 7.00pm to 8.00pm on Wednesday 16 September 2026, providing an overview of the new Local Plan process and explaining how people can get involved. Instructions for how to join the webinar will be published on our Scoping Consultation webpage 24 hours before the event is due to take place.

Anyone without internet access can obtain information about the consultation and how to take part by calling: 01572 722 577. Paper copies of consultation documents are also available at the council’s Catmose House offices, in Oakham, and at local libraries.
